Usage Rights

Please adhere to the following usage guidelines with the media I produce for you:
Do not use commercially without discussing royalties prior
Do not claim sole rights / sole proprietary / steal credit of the piece. Credit must be honestly given. You may provide a written, verbal or link back to my social pages when re uploading or redistributing the media.
Do not alter the media without consent ...
excluding simple image cropping, HSB adjustments, or background removal.
Do not sell the media as print or merchandise without prior discussion/agreements
Do not use the media alongside or aiding/promoting in any kind of hate speech
Always ask permission for political context usage
excluding humanitarian and charitable causes, and antifa grassroots projects, which do have my allowance preemptively
Do not feed media to AI or any kind of diffusion models or LLM

Refund Policy
Refunds! I can give a full refund if you request it before point 2. After that, the scale depends on how much of the process is complete. I will charge for sketches and lineart based on the percentage of the full piece’s cost.
Up-front payment is 50% for new clients. This up-front fee has to be paid when I start working on the commission, but may be paid immediately if desired.You can use invoices to pay in parts if you'd like. If 50% is not present by the time I complete the sketching stage, the commission will be halted.Returning customers do not require a deposit. (One previous purchase required)Thank you for reading!

OKAY! HOW DO I ORDER?! This is an simple commissioner guide for new buyers who aren’t sure what to expect.
(This is a guideline. You may use it as a template if you wish, but it's not necessary.)
Consider the following questions before you order:
- What kind of style of bbdraws.ca (aka @bookshelph / @winkymink) you may want - What mood or tone or color palette your art may desire - What kind of pose you want for your subject - Context of use(where will it go? What will it be used for? Who will it be sent to?)
Optionally, you may simply provide artistic freedom and a subject, and let me go free style with the drawing. This often means a more interesting / dynamic piece as I can break some of the basic constraints of standard palettes and silhouette posing.
After commissioning, expect the following timeline to proceed when I get to your order:
1. I will contact you on provided socials to confirm the order and set up payment invoicing
2. I will provide super rough sketches for posing to determine what you want --
We proceed with the rough sketch you like the best if there is multiple options
Sketch development will proceed, until client approval to continue onto lineart
3. Lineart will be completed and client approved
4. Flat colors are placed and client approved
5. Shading is completed and one more approval is requested before finalization
6. The commission is packaged into requested file types and sent to the client. All done! Yay!
If I have a queue of clients, we will make contact at point (1) to confirm your order, but point (2) will only begin when I get to your order in line. Upfront payment is 50% for new clients. This upfront fee has to be paid when I start working on the inks (3), so please note that the invoice is not due instantly.
Remember, you can pay all upfront if you want!
You can use invoices to pay in parts as well. If 50% of the total cost is not present by the time I complete the sketching stage, the commission will be halted.
